About the fair
On June 21-22, a major celebration of leaders in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries took place. New contacts, engaging conversations, exchange of experiences, and a wealth of substantive knowledge were the key values of the PCI Days trade fair. Over 2,000 people visited 200 stands, providing a veritable showcase of the latest trends, inspiring solutions, and a wide range of products and services. In addition, nearly 70 lectures and workshops were held. All this took place over just two intensive days.
Regular visitors know that PCI Days stands offer much more than just a simple presentation of products and services. Experiences are experienced with all your senses. Entering each themed zone felt like taking an extraordinary journey through the intricacies of the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry. Laboratory equipment and analyzers were ready for on-site testing.
Attendees could not only see but also operate production machines and even perform their own measurements. Touching and testing cosmetic and pharmaceutical raw materials proved to be a true feast for the senses. Visitors saw the “behind the scenes” of labeling and packaging selection. Drug and cosmetics production takes place under strictly defined conditions. To meet these challenges, it’s worth utilizing innovative solutions, and PCI Days was abundant. Exhibitors outdid themselves with their offerings, showcasing cleanroom equipment and accessories, as well as occupational health and safety equipment.
Innovative solutions for production and sampling were also on display. It’s clear that businesses need support in many areas: IT, logistics, or perhaps consulting? These and many other proposals were on offer during two extraordinary days at Expo XXI.
Although the pleasant buzz of conversation in the hall never let up, the Cosmetics Inspiration Zone and the Pharmaceutical Inspiration Zone were packed with attendees throughout the fair. This is no surprise, as the lectures provided an ideal opportunity to update themselves on the most pressing issues. Experts from various industry sectors shared their latest knowledge and experience, which became a source of inspiration. This year, to help plan your visit even more effectively, the lectures were divided into thematic blocks. This proved to be a hit. Legislation and regulations? Or perhaps innovation and interesting solutions for both industries? The selection was truly extensive. Attendees heard about the latest trends and developments and received advice on how to achieve greater efficiency and optimization. Furthermore, the lectures provided a treasure trove of knowledge on contract manufacturing, production control, and sustainable development.
Since PCI Days is a multi-dimensional experience, practical workshops were a must. It’s worth noting that the presenters reached new heights of creativity this year. Together with participants, they tested optimal solutions for sustainable packaging, developed a monitoring plan based on cleanroom classification, discussed technology transfer, and modeled best-practice sales techniques.
PCI Days attendees certainly know how to make the most of their time. They enjoyed recharging their batteries in the relaxation and restaurant areas. It also provided an opportunity for meetings and casual conversations. The press corner, with its extensive selection of current industry literature, was very popular, providing a place to gather thoughts before the next challenges.
Even though this extraordinary event has come to an end, the echoes of inspiring conversations still resonate.
