About the fair
Interesting conversations, new contacts, and a wealth of inspiration. On June 22 and 23, 2022, the unattainable once again happened. Leaders from the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries met in one place – the Warsaw EXPO XXI Center. The PCI Days trade fair is a unique time of intertwining between these two industries.
Over two intense days, crowds of interested visitors visited over 110 stands, presenting a unique showcase of innovation, diversity, and inspiration. Manufacturers and suppliers competed in their offerings.
Attendees could not only listen to but also see firsthand how laboratory equipment and measuring instruments work, and even perform their own analyses. Touching and testing cosmetic raw materials provided a wealth of new experiences not typically found in catalogs. We saw the ins and outs of labeling and packaging selection.
Meeting current requirements for the production of pharmaceuticals, supplements, and cosmetics is a significant challenge for companies. Therefore, exhibitors offering cleanroom solutions, personal protective equipment, and health and safety materials proved to be a significant support.
Stands showcasing machines and robots that take production to levels we could only dream of until recently generated considerable interest. Investors without their own facilities had the opportunity to explore a wide range of contract manufacturing and research and development services. Numerous business support options were also available, including IT solutions, logistics, and consulting.
While the main hall buzzed with conversations, experts shared their knowledge and experience in the packed lecture halls. A Pharmaceutical Inspiration Zone, or perhaps a Cosmetic Inspiration Zone? The choice wasn’t easy. Over 40 topics were covered, including issues related to drug and cosmetics production, new trends, and sales solutions for manufacturers. The “Be Inspired” conference, a review of new raw materials, proved to be a veritable treasure trove of knowledge and innovation. There was even legal advice for entrepreneurs.
As the PCI Days trade fair is not only about theory but also about experimentation, thematic workshops and conferences were a must. In dedicated rooms, participants delved into issues related to microbiology and GMP production. Topics related to efficient production models and business communication were also very popular.
